I wanted to submit this, the heart was drawn with Sharpie markers on my upper arm. The scars have very much faded, thank goodness.

I'm not trying to glorify self harm or anything, I want people to see that you really can fight it, there are no fresh cuts and my scars are healing, that's all behind me now. I want you to know you can recover too, it is possible
